Property owners in Fort Bend County filed property tax protests for $62 billion in 2022 worth of property, or 46% of the county's entire market value. In 2022, 112,556 tax protests were filed by Fort Bend property owners, representing 33% of all tax parcels. Homeowners in Fort Bend County protested to 35% of the value homes in 2022.
