Based on the value detected by Cameron CAD, 8% of the houses were protested. Compared to owners of ordinary homes, owners of more expensive homes are more inclined to protest. Utility, commercial, and apartment owners are far more likely to protest. Based on value, the owners of 34% of commercial, 31% of multifamily, and 41% of utilities filed appeals. Due to its effectiveness, a sizable percentage of utility, business, and multifamily owners continuously file an appeal each year.
Do You Know the Secret?
Do You Know the Secret?
Every year, owners who file an appeal for their property taxes save between 60 and 70 percent of their total property tax. Every year, the appraisal district announces a new figure, which stays the same unless you successfully protest it on your own. Few owners, nevertheless, will make an independent appeal each year. If you are not protesting on your own, let O'Connor handle it for you. Only if we lower your property taxes that year will you ever have to pay anything. Don't miss another deadline for filing a property tax protest by enrolling in the Property Tax Protection Program™ today.
