Denton County Appraisal District 2022 Property Tax Protest
Property owners in the
Denton Central Appraisal District (CAD) reduced their property taxes by $429 million, which included hearings before the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) and informal. Savings from court appeals, which added $21 million to savings in 2022, are not included in this.

Owners of various-sized commercial properties work with O'Connor to appeal and lower their yearly property taxes. 68 to 77% of property owners who protest successfully have their property taxes lowered each year.
